my patterdale ripped her one of back ones out yesterday running after her ball in garden, think she got it in between slabs, she done the same with one of her front ones about 6 weeks ago. washed it in salt water, then put wound powder on.

the nail needs to be cut right back 1/4in from toe you will need something to stop the bleeding when you cut it I use pomanganate of potash purple put some dry on cotton wool put it on nail will stop bleeding or get some bleed stop wash it in hydrogen peroxide twice a day it will be fine hope this helps

spot on :thumbs: this type is fine for two days then surgical spirit to harden the skin around it

 

 

just bin through the same thing pomanganate of potash just got mine of ebay works a treat

Thanks again lads wi11ow got sum of that in the cuboard that's the stuff i had in mind do u put it on nd leave or rinse off al give it a crack thanks for replys atb Luke :)

 

 

 

leave it on i do my bitch snapped her nail so done all as above i wash it every day in Surgical_Spirit
