beast 1,884
normally a snapped nail isnt much of a problem, just will be sore if the dog runs on hard surfaces for a couple of weeks
jocky 198
my patterdale ripped her one of back ones out yesterday running after her ball in garden, think she got it in between slabs, she done the same with one of her front ones about 6 weeks ago. washed it in salt water, then put wound powder on. beast 1,884
peroxide needs to be very diluted or it will damage the healthy tissue as well. iodine solution such as pevidine is better in my opinion
oddser 79
the one you get from chemist is only 30 per cent why I use it it bubbles all the dirt out of the nail bed iodine is ok but it wont shift the dirt that's deep in the toe bed

paulus 26
potassium permanganate crystals will clot a snapped nail or bleeding ear tear, also makes a cracking disinfectant and anti fungal wash when diluted in water
