gnasher16 30,118
Wilf are you getting it mixed up with what he said about England when his Croatia dumped us out of the Euros......If you remember right Everton came in for him mid season but he said no as he felt it would be disloyal to West Ham not to see the season out.....he was well respected for that at the time..... I just think he is a good young manager proven at a high level plays the game the right way and with a previous connection to the club will respect what the clubs about. In which case I stand corrected mate, thought he started all the "nice to be at a big club bollocks" when he went to Everton ??.......but if I'm wrong then yeah, why not. As I said, I liked his style as a player, I thought he had grit.
gonetoearth 5,144
I totally agree i cant understand this merry go round of waste that gets passed around good football clubs..... People like Allardyce,Bruce,Hughes,Warnock and worst of all Pulis.... why do good clubs keep bringing other clubs failures in. Heres one for you Wilf........what you reckon to Slaven Bilic ? . He would make a great manager i was hoping we would approach him but we have done ok

the_stig 6,614
Will it be cheaper than a season in the championship .......Theres your answer. thats what i thought gnash i was a bit supprised to hear steve claridge say during the radio commentary ------the owners at west ham would stick by him because they`d get no man better for the job and they could`nt afford to sack him due to the pay out. cragman 2,770
This will make you feel better Wilf. I was at old Trafford yesterday, and from a reds point of view it was feckin' dire, you're not on your own. Utter shite. Not so bad if they play a bit but there was nothing there, it was like watching 11 strangers playing! Edited January 6, 2014 by cragman
gnasher16 30,118
Stig the 2 Davids will look at their options and weigh it up..... i suppose this is where a managers record comes into play and they will see he does have a good record in relegation battles........but as fans we all know how a change of manager can sometimes give a club the boost it needs.....they have lost the fans now as regards Allardyce theres no coming back,so a change will maybe give the fans, the players, the whole club the lift it needs. Im not sure about Paulo Dicanio as a manger im not sure any premier league club will be brave enough to take him on......but the passion and love there is for him here could be just the boost thats needed.
