"Don't think you're special, we loose every week" haha, good to see a bit of humility. They brought plenty of fans mind! It was actually a blinding day apart from the obvious shame it made you proud at times the style our fans show in times like this........its a sin big grounds like that half empty whats going on with some of these northern clubs dont they like football anymore.......we completely packed out the Bridgeford stand even though we knew silly bollocks was only putting the youth team out......to give them their due the Forest fans joined in and a good time was had by all I said that to my dad Gnash, where the f**k were the Forest fans? I was in Nottingham before kick off and they usually poor over the Trent bridge. I'm no great Forest fan but caught the second half on the box at my folks so saw the turn out. the_stig 6,614 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Share Posted January 5, 2014 i think forest fans have had the stuffing knocked out of them over the years with bad managers and bad signings ----- the midlands just aint a football hot bed these days we`ve had nowt to shout about since the 80s ,, and west ham despite whats going on at the club chucking a youth team at the game would`nt of helped the attendance plus 25quid for a televised game just after christmas and before payday ---gnash i admire you dedication to a team and a manager thats giving you fook all back. at the moment Quote Link to post Share on other sites
gnasher16 30,118 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Share Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) We have never been a sacking club EVER when it came to managers, we stuck by them but this c**t don't sit right now, he is talking out of his jacksy What annoys you Wilf.....im not saying the group of youngsters we have here are the next Beckham,Butt,Scholes,Giggs,Nevilles group.......but they are the top side in the country for their age......and this club has a long history of turning out some of the best players the country has had.................................can you imagine Alex Ferguson throwing that little firm of 92 out to the lions to get humiliated like that...................the man is willing to sacrifice the long standing reputation of this football club.....for the sake of premiership survival.............ive said it before theres part of me that really hopes we do go down....for a number of reasons,one being it will be the only sure way of outing this dope ! What annoys me is from a total football point of view, no way am I knocking our kids. I am no pro football manager, I only ever played low standard stuff so maybe my take on it don't count for shit but here it is anyway.......after the last couple of weeks I would have put a strong team out to: A: Try and give the fans something to smile about B: hopefully go into the city game with a good win under your belt and have a go and the fans buzzing Today was the worst of all worlds, the kids will be feeling down, the fans will be destroyed and the senior player will be feeling the negative heat too Positive breeds positive and negative breeds negative in sport, certainly in football it does . Judging by those comments he made in the programme that you quoted I sounds like he has lost belief himself so where does that leave you? Exactly where we are is where!! It don't matter who he try's to sign, who is gonna want to come?......would you as a player? I wouldn't and nobody of any worth is going to want to either. I dont have any more right to comment than you or the next man mate......you,ve played the game so you know more of what happens on a football pitch than i do.....and you know this club......that probably gives you more right if anything !..............But a situation like this i dont think you need to be a big fan or a clever person to see the obvious.....yes we have a small squad....yes we have had horrendous luck with injuries this year.............but the decisions he has made as a " manager " have been poor ones.......look at the so called " senior " players he put out today to help the kids along.....Morrison whos a kid himself.....Downing who cant do a thing right..... and the second most expensive signing in the clubs history Matt Jarvis ..........these are HIS signings ......HIS decisions... That what he said in the program i thought was disgusting.....he bought all his little favorites like Nolan,Jaskeleinen,Holland etc.....and they are useless everybody can see through this little Allardyce/Nolan relationship thats why all season we,ve been screaming out to put a few kids in.....and he does this to them,and us.........if in next weeks program he does any kind of " i told you so " he,s going to end up getting lynched ! 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Id be happy with anyone to be honest it almost feels like we are in a constant battle with Allardyce its felt like it from early on when he basically said " f**k the West Ham way "......like today he put out 3 kids whos fathers are much loved and respected former players......Rob Lee,s boy......Johnny Moncur,s boy.....and Stevie Potts boy......none of them are ready for first team football yet its almost like he put them in so that when they f****d up we would all go against the names of old respected players.......the Moncur kid gave a penalty away for the first goal he got nothing but encouragment from every West Ham fan in the ground........if that horrible useless fat c**t thinks we are going to go against great names who we all stood and cheered for years.......he,s got another thing coming......i want him out now,we,ve all tried being patient and giving him the respect he deserves.......but theres some lines you just cant cross. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
