Wanted Gate Nets Poles

looking for poles for gate nets and the little black things that u tie the net too

Cut hazel.

 

Make a slight groove,the top line props on that.

 

Folk do it different but that works for me.

 

You get different ones if its to purse you dont want it fixed on poles.

 

If its like a stop net thats fair enough.

 

I am no expert either.

thanks I used hazel but I found some break in hard ground I bought some poles at the midlands but need ten more

eBay mate I've just bought 30 to do all my long nets and they come with the gromits and the top caps

Some lads dont use the poles. Some lads prop them on the gates with stones,sounds a right feck about.be nightmare in dark.

 

Thought you could use fishing weights fixed to net. Heavy enough to hold them in place but light enough to purse with quarry hitting the net.

 

I aint tired it but think it could work.

I put them each side of the hedge so need to be free standing that's for all the help lads
