Ibracadabra 5
I was just curious to know what would happen if you worked ferrets that didn't know each other together. For example, I have 2 hobs (both castrated) and my friend has 2 jills, what would happen if we worked them together on a burrow (bearing in mind they haven't met before)? Also if we gave them some time together before we worked them would it make any difference? Cheers Quote Link to post

vanman1 411
No problems mate they will be fine. Ive done it thousands of times over the years,Like has been said already they just seem to get on with there jobs, although i have one hobb i wont put down with a strange hobb as he gets a little protective if he corners a bunny!! although he is fine with strange jills. The one 8,475
Ive worked mine with differnt mates ferrets over the years and on the odd occasion you get a scrap . but mostly they just run about chittering away down the burrow which i think helps unsettle the rabbits Quote Link to post
GreyRake 108
Good question, had wondered that myself and assumed it was best not to mix them but there you go, will crack on next time! Quote Link to post
