Kenneling Young Pups?

Hi i just getting my new pup and hes 8 weeks old. He was kenneled outside when i bought him but he wont settle in my kennel he just screams like a baby. So does [NO TEXT TALK] have any tips on how to stop this on such a young dog as i cant be having any complaints also tried him in a cage in house and he does exactly the same???

my pup was same so I dropped him in deep end and kennelled him with me guard dog and it worked a treat the 2 love each other now lol

Iv just got 8 week pup aswell had a couple of ights in the porch but in kennel now quite as you like better outside then indoors give it a bone toys etc keep him occupied but he will give in the end

Hi lads ive tried the radio and teddy bear but still the same. Even tried caging him in living room with us but still no joy.

I usually just ride the storm the first nigt but if it continues, I put a sprinkler facing into pen thats connected to an outside tap. And every time the pup starts I just reach out the kitchen window and turn on the tap and give him a blast for a few seconds. Without the dog even seeing me. Lukilly I have an outside tap just under the window but I suppose a hose could be run in the window and connected to a tap inside just as easy. I think the beauty of this is that the pup doesnt get any attention from you by even seeing you, he, she just gets a negative response to making noise. This method has served me well on even one or two problem cases.

have an old jumper on all day (so it gets your smell on it) and put it in the kennel with him, that worked for my pup

Was going to say same thing thought people would cry though lol last pup I got I wedged the hose into the bars of the kennel and same when she howled cryed ect I would turn on and off quickly dog would run back into box stopped for 3 hours then howl on again never a sound again water does work lol

had exact same thing happen to me up untill 6 hours ago!been screaming like a banshee since got him new years day!so chucked me bitch in with him whos never been in kennel an not heard a peep.shes 9 an has took to him well.if you aint got another to chuck in try a radio or night light that might work good luck pal
