andy97 209
with cuts and gashes does anybody stitch or glue them themselves or do you let the vet do it for the cost of a weeks wage Quote Link to post
paulus 26
with cuts and gashes does anybody stitch or glue them themselves or do you let the vet do it for the cost of a weeks wage depends on where and how bad, if the muscle is torn then its a vet job, small skin tears either staple or just keep clean, they will all heal given time if infection can be kept at bay, Quote Link to post

Only found it as he flinched when I was washing him down, looked at my hands and they were covered in claret to this day I have no idea how I missed it but know exactly how and when it happened on the night Quote Link to post

Sirius 1,391
Be VERY careful self medicating/healing Wankers at the RSPCA would love nothing better than to make an example of you If you stich or glue a wound make sure to leave the lowest point open as a drain, keep it clean and ffs don't tell anyone you did it I maybe wrong, but I was under impression you can treat your own dog to a point. But when you treat someone else's it's real trouble. Edited January 4, 2014 by Sirius Quote Link to post
andy97 209
if you cut yourself within reason you would treat yourself so whats the difference ? if it would have been a massive rip and muscle tear he would have been to the vet but surely flesh wounds there no problem what rspca and other outfits like these should keep there nose out Quote Link to post
