ftm 3,357 Posted January 4, 2014 Report Share Posted January 4, 2014 well lads/lasses took troy out on the beating line today [wife held him back 40 yds] to see if there would be any reaction to the guns going off in the distance ,he never flickered and even managed a retrieve once the drive was over [a nice easy one] last drive the wife reports a hen pheasant dropped onto a large grassy bank and we went in search of it . to my surprise /joy troy found a pricked bird tucked in tight under a tussock -he didn't pull it out but just him finding it was good enough for me 6 month old and doing nicely he should be just right for next season as I will reign him in a bit now and maybe let him watch [from a distance] my mate pigeon shooting in a few months time Quote Link to post
