patterdale 674
Many years ago when i had a SG cert and i used dogs, ferrets and guns to hunt rabbits to tell the difference to which rabbits were shot with the 12g I'd slice one of the ears so by the end of the day i could tell which we shot from the ferreted rather than feel for pellets.does anyone else do this or any other methods.obviously i didn't want any family, friend or neighbour ending up with a mouth full of lead! Matt 160
Funnily enough I've always done the same thing.... Having said that; there is nothing wrong with a bit of lead shot. Had pheasant curry last night and some 6 shot is lingering in the bottom of the bowl this morning.... Quote Link to post
