Bigad 136
Went out tonight shooting and my scorpian had a mad power loss I filled it up to 190 as per usual but would have had better chance of spitting the pellets at the rabbits. Could not get the pellet to go in to a fence post from 20ft so packed the gun away drove back the 50 miles to home sulking. My uncle said it could be my seals does anyone know if this is a costly repair as I am taking it to my gun shop tomorrow ? Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
hopefully it shouldn't cost too much mate. bet you were gutted after driving all that way for your rifle to mess up! should have had a reserve rifle in the boot hope its a quick and cheap fix and you can get back out shooting soon Quote Link to post
moxy 617
Shouldn't cost too much. The seal kit should only be around a tenner. That's if you get a full overhaul. Plus labour. By the sounds of it. It may only be a slow valve leak. Quote Link to post
Lewis Ste 245
Did you try another fence post? That might of just been a really hard one mate... If that doesn't work, the next option would be try it through a cronograph Quote Link to post
mickeyfn19 16
have you checked for leaks, only place it could be to affect your fps is the transfer port, fire the bun with no mag and put a small piece of paper over the bolt. if the paper blows off when you fire then there your answer, the transfer port seal needs sorting. however it could actually be something to do with your regulator (the scorpions are regged aren't they) so if it isnt the tp seal then that may be your problem. just hope its the seal for your sake. hope you get sorted mate. villaman 9,983
No reg in them un less if a after market reg has been fitted ie XTX AIR tench reg Quote Link to post

Bigad 136
Well good news for me it was the gauge on my bottle was fault it did not have 190 in the gun like the gauge said it was actually 230 which is why power was down 5 not 11.5 as it should so the guys at Redbeck shooting supplies got the gun back to norm and they replaced the gauge all for free top lads good service Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Do not rely on a gun gauge, they are notoriously crap! Always rely on the gauge on the filling device! Quote Link to post
Bigad 136
No gauge on gun it was the one on my diving bottle that was faulty Quote Link to post
