Rosehips and Rowans and a few crab apples

Rowan berry jelly

4lbs of rowan berrys and 3lbs of crab apples

wash and clean the berrys and crabs put in a large pan then put in enough water to cover them.

boil for 20 mins then strain through muslem overnight.

measure the resulting juice and add a pound of sugar fopr every pint of juice heat slowly til the sugar has melted then boil rapidly for 10 mins till it starts to set when dripped on the back of a spoon.

pour into jars while still warm job done.

Well smart with venison and game in general. :yes:
