Huan72 687
Veterinary prices are outrageous, my mums dog had to have treatment whilst on holiday, she had to have an infected wound sorted, she used the vet that the person she was staying with used and cost her £17, the same treatment at her normal vets is £50. Also, worming tablets that the vet charges £1 for, cost the vet 10p. This was a few years ago, so they've probably gone up now. The whole POM thing needs looking at in my opinion, so much of it just seems like a money making exercise to me. I've always found Australian vets to be top dollar , seriously though I have never met a bad Australian vet I asked one about it once and in Australia the vets allow twice as much time for a consultation as they do over here.
