Read kes and Macbeth for my English literature exam. Only lived a couple of miles from where he gets his bird from. When the film came out out everybody who went birds egging knew the building. There was a queue to climb it.lol . Janet and john were my primary school reading books. I think you're showing your age boys admitting to reading these.

Know it well and its not as high as it looks in the film.I remember seeing the film [bANNED TEXT] it first come out before reading the book at secondry school my eldest grandson who's at secondry school has being doing a project on it even though he lives in a former pit village i had to exsplain in detail wat the pit was god how times have changed.
. Don't know if you've seen it lately but its virtually tumbled down now. Surrounded by site fencing . Piece where nest was in the film fell down years ago.

No mate not recently thats sad to hear.

Read a lot of the stuff already mentioned then started to read Sci fi like Issac Asimov that's hard going!

Started getting in to books about WW2 aviation and stopped reading much fiction, I used to go to the library every Saturday and would come home with 5 or 6 books.

After my degrees I got bored with nothing to study any more so decided to take up reading about the wars and political history of the early 20th century. I do enjoy seeing people's faces looks when they glance at my huge collection of books daubed with Swastikas
