Katsdad 31
Now I have your attention,I have two sandy ferrets a Jill and a hob not sure if they are brother and sister as person I got them from had two litters from different Jill's all the same colour and then mixed them up when getting rid of, now when it comes to the mating season if they are related is this going to cause problems and if so should I remove the Jill now and get her mated by another hob. May seem a bit of a numpty question but I want to be doing it right. Thanks Tim Quote Link to post
Bunny Boiler 177
If you are in doubt, and have the option to play safe with another Hob, why take the risk? Or get him snipped and then theres no issue either. Quote Link to post
pie-eater 377
Id go with an unrelated proven working hob. If youre breeding just to take the jill out of season you could get her jabbed or use a vac hob. Quote Link to post
Andrew Beirne 78
I would giveem a few seasons good graft firstbut if you are stuck I would bring in a proven working hob Quote Link to post

Jamie m 668
They won't be long in season now one of my Jill's is showing signs . Take the hob out do yourself a favour, get the Jill jabbed or brought out of season pointless breading purposely of last summers young, there's plenty well proven ferrets on here . If you need kits in the summer . To many ferrets about anyway, and to much crap . Not a dig at you just some advice, 1 Quote Link to post
Katsdad 31
Yeah ok maybe get her jabbed then as still not sure what she will be like,in that case may be on the look out for a couple of good workers.? Quote Link to post
