the_stig 6,614
The last dig you had to a dog is all you can ever judge it by is often quoted but once a dog is in the swing of it and dosnt get sickened then its usually on the road to a good career.Dosnt answer you question but thats my take on it . So none of you have a dog you could take anywhere and be 100% confident in .IM TALKING EARTH WORK NOT ROCKS BALES OR TREES before anyone pipes up .Sad state of affairs that .Some terriers dont inspire confidence but others dont deserve the doubt admitted on here .Sort your kennels out for the new year and bury the shite . 100% confident or 100 % guaranteed .... 2 Quote Link to post

smasher 1,055
The amount of time spent under the ground far out weighs the number of digs a terrier has,a good 4-5 hour dig beats 4 or 5, 1 hour digs for me any day of the week,, 5 Quote Link to post
the_stig 6,614
Whats the difference .Im struggling with this thread that no one has bomb proof terriers on here. The more i read the less i want to write on here ffs i`m the same mate i`m about done with the terrier section and fook knows i`ve been one to try and keep it going over the years ,,,, i`d be confident in a seasoned terrier going out and doing the job but i`ve been around the terrier game long enough to know nothings guaranteed ..... whether it be a hard terrier a soft bolting type one you can call off, one that does earth work, bales, rocks ,or trees, 2 Quote Link to post

the_stig 6,614
some of us old school might have differant standards some of the dogs around now we would`nt of tolerated back in the 70/80s even what i`ve got on my yard now ,,,,, some of us have been fortunate enough to see the best years of the terrier game all i can say to any one in it now is forget your 100% ,forget your books and internet , get out and enjoy your terriers because time flys and it soon all passes you by,,, 7 Quote Link to post
