ferretman89 68
Hi all Might seem a bit of a stupid question but i have had my longnet a few weeks now and i am impressed with it. Considering its second hand i only paid £50 for 100yrd and the basket its it great condition. The poles are ok but I think it needs a few extra, so i am planning on getting new ones but i dont really know what i am doing when fitting them. I have been looking at the magnum poles and will probably go with them and get a full set of poles for it. Is there anybody that would be able to do a good job and fit them for me Co.Durham area. Guest scramble
i wouldnt bother buying magnum poles for it mate, you got it at a good price no point spending 75 quid for 20 poles. How many poles did your net come with??? have a look at the pinned thread at the top of the page or look at LC's post on how to make up a quickset. 1 Quote Link to post
bullx100% 681
Pm nelson for some poles mate he sells them individualy so just buy what you need I'd set them at 5yards as this seems to be the most used way and anything over 5yard the lead and foot lines get saggy.and as scramble has said look at lc post he's put pics on aswell as writen discription Quote Link to post
