Hows The Weather Affecting Your Sport ?

Recommended Posts

hounds are flying on the drag where the scent is staying on the wet / saturated ground,..........in the prevention of protecting birds , the shallow places aren't holding due to so much rain its penetrating deeper and deeper in to the ground,........pests being forced into barns and trees .........

on the bonus side the population of a good breeding year will definitely be seeing good numbers for next season.....

effecting the ferreting some what and I think its something we are going too have too climeitise too as its getting more regular with each season........all that pish about good summer harsh winter bo##cks lol

Touch wood, not had too much trouble through weather. Had to knock off when out mooching due to rain a couple times but nothing major. I'd kill for a cold snap though.

Lot of 4x4s getting stuck in mud in their poxy road tyres! LOL.

Between ongoing myxie and floods this season's a bit of a wash out: lamping is like running the dogs in a slow-mo nightmare up to their chests in mud, or like a skating rink on grass land. Terriers look as though they'd be better off wearing flippers most of the time. Bit of bramble bashing is all I've really done, but at least the dogs are still able to have a bit of fun doing that.

Was loading yesterday ....wet or what !...Although every one put on a brave face it was hard work , I don't think anybody was sorry when we finished the last drive . On a brighter note every thing was frozen this morning but I got out on the does & managed to knock a couple down .As I finished putting them in the chiller its started raining again ..
