Once mine had seen a good few rabbits and had been out a few times with the ferrets he started marking up. Still makes me laugh when he stands pointing Quote Link to post

Country Joe 1,411 Posted January 3, 2014 Report Share Posted January 3, 2014 Get them started young, and remember don't praise if he puts his head in a hole, as this could make him false mark. the first photo he was 3 months, I saw the Rabbit going in. now just 10 months and turned a really good marking dog. Second photo he is 9 month, marking a holding bury with his Dam. Quote Link to post

If I'm netting an area with no rabbits that has to be done anyway he decks off sits by the box lol or goes to where they are . All comes with Time in the field , Quote Link to post
