Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Glad you enjoyed my post moxy. The rifle did shoot very nice today.. A bit better than it was before, definitely. Doing this is worth a few hours of anybodys time if you want your rifle to shoot very nicely without paying loads for a professional tune. They are easy to strip and you wont need to spend much on the 'tools' - Screwdriver, Spanner, Grease and some Wet&Dry .. if you don't already have them lying around anyway! Thanks for reading guys. I will update the chrono results on Saturday for anyone interested. Happy shooting for 2014 everyone 1 shot 2 Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Power should be at about 11 FtLbs now davy but I will confirm that on sat when I get chance to get out. work gets in the way of everything Need to sort the grinding out now with the other cocking arm that was from my hw77k, that's going to do my head right in! don't know how the other one snapped but that's really pissed me off as you know In the texts I sent you. then I will be cleaning the barrel and try some different pellets for accuracy, then when I find the right one it will be chrono time again, to see where its at with its 'favorite' pellet, compared to rws hobby.. then the near and far calibration etc. Then I will post some 1 hole 3 shot 'groups' for you when the wind isn't about might even go 5 or 10 shots Edited January 2, 2014 by Skot Ruthless Teale Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
Cool! A three shot group is good enough for me, clover leaf as they would call it! One could be luck, two could be a fluke, but three is matter of fact! Any more than three is showing off, lol. 1 Quote Link to post

jimmytwohand 13
Enjoyed following this. Between yourself and a few others i'm just about convinced this is possible for a broke, dunce like me. Just found some 800 and 1200 grit in the shed as well some i'm only lacking the lubes. Don't blame me if questions follow. Would be interested in the painting you do as you've also piqued my curiosity in that regard too. Ta, J Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Just checked the weather guys. Tomorrow afternoon its meant to be stopping raining at about 12-1pm and will be 4-degrees and 9-10mph winds. Doesn't get dark until about 4pm that gives me a good 3-4 hours window hopefully. Half decent weather I suppose so I should get chance to chrono and zero the rifle again Quote Link to post

Ethan TX 269
My dad has exactly the same rifle he bought it off my grandad bigmac97kt and its had the same work done think Daryl might have done it also, its fully polished with v mack kit and a welsh willy trigger slightly touch it and it goes off. You will love it its awesome, and lethal, what ever you aim at isn't gonna get up and run away. Shame its too heavy for me. With all the work you have done to it its gonna be a monster 2 Quote Link to post
