Hi lads,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the following at a good price all my local gunshops dont have any and to get one would cost a lot!

Howa 243 rifle with 20" heavy barrel

Hogue sand stock

Any silencer and a not to expensive scope which I can use for both foxing and deer

Has any one used the nikko sterling 3 12 x56 ive heard that the dot in the crosshairs can block out what you are looking at?

yes, have a couple, the diamond is a decent scope... no complaints. The illumination is tiny, i use one to head shoot rabbits at night, without issues.

I also have one on 6.5 x 55mm for stalking, I like. em.

Your post inspired me to go looking and I found this which seems appealing. If a second hand .243 doesn't float my boat then I'd seriously consider picking this one up as it saves the hassle of hunting around for the various components.

Considering I wouldn't be using the rifle all that often, spending a small fortune on a set up just wouldn't wash economically for me and I'd have the confidence that this package would be more than fit for purpose.

There are a few distributors that aren't a million miles away but I love the idea of a nice day out and trying before buying.
