Froudy 40 Posted January 2, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 2, 2014 Thanks lads I have found one local its a new heavy barrel howa with a green hogue stock and a nikko sterling 3-12x56 with a atec maxim silencer and includes a 5 shot magazine and bipod the price is £1040 is this a fair price for it? The illumination is tiny, i use one to head shoot rabbits at night, without issues. I also have one on 6.5 x 55mm for stalking, I like. em. Quote Link to post

If a second hand .243 doesn't float my boat then I'd seriously consider picking this one up as it saves the hassle of hunting around for the various components. Considering I wouldn't be using the rifle all that often, spending a small fortune on a set up just wouldn't wash economically for me and I'd have the confidence that this package would be more than fit for purpose. There are a few distributors that aren't a million miles away but I love the idea of a nice day out and trying before buying. 1 Quote Link to post
