Huan72 687
Our society is definitely going down the river. Those that take, take, take and have no intention of ever contributing in any way are outbreeding the rest, its a game of numbers. They breed like rabbits because they can afford to as the rest of us pay for them to raise their kids. I also think the whole rap culture thing has a massively negative effect on the young, it promotes violence, rudeness, attitude, disrespect towards women, gun crime, knife crime. Its another U.S. import that is eroding away the principles that were once installed into the youth of this country. Sad times but I can only see it getting worse and worse. Listen to how inner city kids talk now, says it all really.
dytkos 17,861
British society has been diluted so much over the past 3 or 4 generations. Can blame immigration, lack of jobs, poor housing, The System or anything on the reason, but the cause is failure by parents and teachers to instil any common decency, manners and education into the children they have. And it will get worse. Cheers, D.

Mister Gain 1,764
Quite a few good points made in this thread. I was brought up to say please and thank you, open a door for an older person, someone struggling with shopping or a pram. Used to offer my seat on a bus or train whilst travelling etc. Don't see much of it at all nowadays. I find it quite refreshing if I do see a young lad or girl show a bit of respect along those lines. Being polite doesn't cost anything. A lot of people now don't even know how to queue. Yep, certainly a lot ruder and disrespectful than it used to be... unfortunately.
Huan72 687
This is an example of why this country is screwed. My boys geography teacher phoned me to say that my lad, who was 14 at the time was dancing around him, in his face trying to intimidate him and asked me to have a word. He came home from school, I grabbed him by the coat and said "don't do that its not nice to try and scare people". The next day he goes into school and tells the school that I had lost it and showed them a small mark on his neck that wasn't even related to the incident. I went home for lunch at about 17:00 and the police and social workers were waiting for me, After questioning they started telling me what was right and wrong whilst pandering to the boys BS. I said have you finished because I've had enough and the next time you turn up, you'll be taking the boy with you.......................I was angry and upset you see. I felt totally screwed by the sytem and the boy. I said to the social, can you tell me how to stop my 14 year old son from telling his mum to f**k off. She looked blank. The whole system is a screwed up f**king joke.

Anonymity , makes some people fkin monsters , I cant believe that some of the belligerent twats on here act like that in real life , even if its talking to a stranger on the web that's no reason to loose your manners . does that mean i cant call everyone a c**t in the chatroom stan

The whole system is a screwed up f**king joke. This is due in the main to the 'human rights / political correctness' that is blighting general common sense. A pal sent me an email a while back which just about sums it up:- There's an annual contest at Bond University, Australia calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term. This year's chosen term was "political correctness". The winning student wrote:- "Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and promoted by mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of shit by the clean end".
mushroom 13,325
Rollocks to the lot of you Try living here TBH it's the one thing that really makes me want to return. The rudness, lack of manners, and total self centered approach boil my piiss. Fucckers walk into you in the street then look at you like it's your fault, they stand infront of the doors on the metro (although I deal with that one very simply) let doors close in your face, drive like assholes, take ya feckin beer way before it's finished...... cuunts the lot of them

What really grates my gears is that some folk would rather have a nasty b*****d living next door who was white and british, than a real nice family that are foreign. I just take folk as I find them, regardless. . . . . thats me then lol cause id have the f*****g wests living next door to me rather than some filthy shitskins oh and i dunno about rude, but there certainly inconsiderate c**ts. went up town to get a few presents my god, cattle behave in a more orderley fashion.
