Lucky, have you changed your mind on bull crosses some ?

not at all mate, i have had and seen some very good ones in the past but theres far more shite about than there is good, same with any breed i suppose.

this is the first wheaton cross i've had and to be honest i cant fault the dog, thats the reason why i got the pup out of him, i would have another well bred wheaton cross in a second though :) .

Lucky, how does he differ speed, temperament, stamina, drivewise etc from the good bull first x's you have worked?

to be honest i keep forgetting he's a first cross, he's a lot faster than the half cross bulls i've had and can turn aswell, the thing i like most about him is he wants to catch stuff if you know what i mean, he really throws himself at his quarry and is lethal when they get near cover.

he dispatches stuff far better than most dogs i've owned, a very clever dog.

the ground is a lot softer now than what he has been running on so he should be even better on his next outings and once he's running fit he'll be a dream to watch.

his stamina seems ok and can only get better with fitness, as for drive he has plenty of that (he loves it) and his temperament is brilliant, around people kids and other dogs, he's also bomb proof around livestock.

Cracking looking animal mate...............I really do like them , I had a a genuine half cross of exactly the same colour -Due to some problems at the time she was passed onto a genuine lad of this site who got her going as a general all rounder , she turned into a cracking little fox bitch but was tradgically killed early in a collision with a plow while running a fox........... :(

A big strong dog like that would be great over that bitch we got down here that just had pups Lucky....... :whistling:

All the best mate.......Taff

i would'nt mind a bitch pup from that breeding, i've heard good things about the bitch, we will have to arrange a night out lamping later in the season so you can see him wreck a bit of stuff :) .

p.s hows the bitch i heard she's had a bad injury recently ?

she,s on the mend mate  but dont think she,ll be doing much this season
