Kemperz21 65
I own a bull X and he is perfect around kids apart from being excitable and charging around playing with them wouldn't hurt a fly in the house or garden totally different beast out though Hungary for the catch and eger to please retrieves live to hand good around ferrets and very good around my hunting pals other dogs no fighting ever !!more than happy with how he has turned out but that might be down to me being young and driven to make my dog the best it can be spending every spare waking min with him when he was a pup not old and set in there ways lacking the drive to go out with the pup in the kennel !! like penny Taylor said in CW this week complacency is a terrible thing !!! Owners forgetting or neglecting the basic pup training of association other dogs / livestock owners are the waste of time not the dog !!! 3 Link to post

Moll. 1,770
If your mates had/has a few and they are all untrustworthy dogs, it say's more about your mates I'm afraid. I dont keep bull x's to look hard or as a penis extension .....cos i aint got one I keep them because as house dogs and trustworthy working dogs i have found them to be the most biddable easy to train dogs going. Useless as guards, if someone approached me in the middle of a field in the dead of the night they would be licked to death. I'm not trying to say they are better than any other breed, they are not, get two dominant dogs together and there will be a fight, just as there would be with any breed. But if someone has them and they are dangerously out of control, not safe around children or dogs, then it is either down to the owners or is a rare screwed in the head dog. Because they genuinely are soooo easy to train. Mine have always been 1st generation, 1st crosses. From my observations i think the problem seems to lie with more line bred bull x's. Idiots who seem to think aggressive dogs make better hunters and are breeding aggressive dogs to aggressive dogs. Anyone else noticed the same? Link to post
