Poacherspocket 189
Hi all. A few places local that I have a quick lamp on I know are targeted regularly and iv read before that filters can help. Iv looked for the tracer they do red amber blue and green. So if anyone can help id appreciate it. What colours make bunnies less noticeable which colours the bunnies dont react to etc. Thanks in advance. Quote Link to post
squab 2,875
used the red filters for years although they will wise up to all of them over time Quote Link to post

fez 4
More to do with the dulling of the light than the colour, a lamp with a dimmer is just as good. 1 Quote Link to post

Poacherspocket 189
I wish id got the variable lamp to start with I understand where your all coming from. Iv been experimenting with allsorts of lamps lately like the cree led torches and im going to see how I get on with the filters. The reason behind it is I found the cree lamps are alright for small and I mean very small fields no bigger than a football pitch at most. And I need somthing with more range yet not anything to scare the bunnies. I also found that you didnt get a good reflection off the bunnies eyes with the cree led torches especially the higher lumen ones. Quote Link to post
fez 4
I've got the tracer 170 with dimmer and have no problem with it, before that had the old blue eye. Stay away from lazer lite. Quote Link to post
