lee i use the colron/beeswax on victorian pine can you thin it in anyway ...?

most of the propriety brands of wax can be thinned with white spirits, but be warned it will slow the drying time. After 3-4 coats of wax go over the surface with a hairdrier and then buff it up

ps checkout Morrell's long established Co. that carries a vast amount of useful products that other Co. cant be bothered with

it wont be cheap from there we at work get stuff from there

They have a depot just outside Leeds which was bob handy. I now live east midlands and trying to source good polishes, lacquers and stains is a nightmare as well as an arm and a leg.Morrell's might not be the cheapest but their stock is extensive IMHO powder stains from oil, spirit and now even water stains cant think of another supplier that can supply everything in one order

That's brilliant, thank you everyone for the advice! :good: and cheers for the help mushroom! lol

Leeview, I just checked out Morrells website and it might as well be in French! I haven't got a clue what I'm looking for! I tried searching for white polish but didn't find anything. I want to keep it as light/natural as possible.

I've got some clear beeswax somewhere in the shed, so I'll dig it out and warm it up ready.

Here's the table almost finished (my daughter wanted to use it straight away!)

Picked up a solid pine coffee table for £15 off the same guy! so will do that at the same time.

Thanks again,
