Hello everybody,

 

It has been a while since i last shot and my interest is steadily rekindling. As such i wanted to find a place to get back up to speed and cadge some advice off those more current in the market. Before begging advice (which i will do in very short order ) i thought it was a good idea to introduce myself.

 

My name is James, I used to shoot air rifle during the late 90's. I was an FT shooter and enjoyed events like the world champs and euro champs in 1998 as a fresh faced 17 year old as well as the weekly stonk round my old club Rough Wedge. Started off using a tuned HW77 and progressed to an all singing and dancing Air Arms RN-10. Lovely bits of kit.

 

I also enjoyed to hunt when i could find the odd obliging farmer and used a well worn HW80 on shorter trips and a HW95 for when i needed to lug the rifle over distance and still use my arms the next day.

 

Unfortunately all of these fine rifles had to be sold when i relocated to Italy briefly and my arsenal now consists of a disassembled 1979 BSA Meteor Mk5 in urgent need of a new mainspring, seals and a huge chunk of TLC.
