Going to be the ruin of scotland that we fat b.....d salmond should put a muzzle on him

he would probaly retire with a yes vote or soon after, and snp would probaly brake up into other partys.. another reason to vote yes lol

something needs to be done about the dogs and owners that are causing the attacks.. what sensible thing can be done to try fix the problem?

If yer a junkie you don't get a dog....that's a good start. If your dog attacks someone you pay for there treatment and then you are banned from keeping dogs....forever!!!

You can't ask everyone with a dog to get them chipped and buy them muzzles. If you have a potentially aggressive dog then get it muzzled.

Agree with the microchipping, but with regards to the license etc, doesn't stop any tom dick or Harry acquiring a pup, backround checks, criminal record status etc should come into it, ie drug charges, assault then you can have a licence for non known aggressive breeds etc, see if a Lhasa apso does there street cred any, muzzling? Well that's just silly and your putting the fear in the public before anything happens.

joe ffs your blinded by this independence shite!

i will never ever muzzle a dog,i will keep it under control though.if it bites some c**t hell mend them for approaching a dog they dont know, if it mauls someones dog i can assure you it will be there dog that will be off the lead.so therefore im blameless.

i have seen the result of a dog being mauled to death, and no means of defending itself.and if it wasnt for the fact it was a daft women to blame she would have got a crack on the jaw,for being so f***ing stupid.

fair doos it just riles me,they jump on the band wagon with all these daft promises without any f***ing thought going into it. seriously if this happens i will never own another dog.

shamefull and despicable how politicians use incidents like dog attacks as vote winners. yes there is a problem in every town/city in the uk with numptys in charge of portential killers,BUT this is certainly not the road to go down. chipping i see nothing there that will stop dogs attacking. we currently have dog wardens as it is.however there more interested in sitting on there usless arses in a van waiting on some c**t not picking up shite. should be law if you your dog does not respond to basic commands then it should be kept on a lead, why you would want to own such an animal is beyond me. where the f**k is the enjoyment in having a mutt that does not listen to a word you say.

Very seldom I walk my dogs in public places because of arseholes , the type that walk around with 4 dobermans and when they run up to you barking like f**k and you here "they won't touch you their fine" it's these f***ing muppets that need leeds and dog muzzles. But let's be honest do you think if it comes in police are going to drive by every shell suit hero walking down the street "muzzle your dog" "muzzle your dog" they will soon get fed up.

I agree with the microchipping I lost a good dog last year and some f****r has her if she had been chipped at least I could hope for her return and how many dogs have been lost and ended up in kennels that could have been scanned and returned to their owners if they had only had a chip. Ill chip every pup I get now anyway regardless of law
