Ham On The Bone

Recommended Posts

I got 3 weeks out of mine last year

Kept it in the fridge and cooked it really well with gravy and onions every day   Curried some of it, and made a soup with the bone and remainder, the curry and soup lasted another 3 weeks but I portioned and froze them

3 Weeks - From 1 Ham......Now that's clever.

Nope but I do reuse them  one Tbag = 2 cups of tea

The reason it was so large was I had 5 friends staying for Christmas last year. They went to the Bocaria on the Rambla for the meat and came back with pretty much half a pig... Mexicans what can you do eh??

Tell you what they did though they stabbed the feck out of it and I mean proper Toxteth style  and then filled all the holes with almonds, chilles and a squeeze of honey then roasted it was unbelievably delicious.
