Thumb between the ferrets eyes and gently press downwards

I take a shoe lace out and wrap it round it's neck. Then I pull in opposite directions till I choke it out. I learnt this technique on here as it's similar to getting a pitbull off your gran.

Just let the ferret hang off the rabbit, it may take a few seconds but she will soon let go. Don't keep her too high off the ground, so she lands gently enough.

 

This really only works if you have someone else giving you a hand to replace nets.

I like to just put them down on the ground,,,of course you do this after the rabbit has been chined,,, leave it on the ground after a min or so the ferret usually realises it's dead, and looses interest ,,, in fact cos I do this all the time,, mine tend to let go in less than I min,,,

Yeah I just let them hang on while I chin it then lay it aside and let them rag it a little while I set another net over the hole. Sometimes press on the head to get them off if they are latched on where I need to put my hands or if they are obstructing me threading the rabbits head through the net to chin.
