Wether it be the collars or the mag box, I have definitely seen an improvement in my dogs by using them, and also I take offence to people trying to ridicule those that do believe they work, and no

Truth is no one in this discussion is qualified or an expert in this subject ,all you can go on is your own thoughts after using one ,i have and i think it works ,good enough for me

I wouldn't in my wildest dreams try and argue with you Sandy mere With your 'big' words and rapier sharp wit and condescending humour I would stand no chance! I'm a just a working class man who like

Google certainly has all the answers, but I suppose it depends what you're asking.

Have you ever used a mag box or collar, because until you have no amount of googling will give you the right answer.

not knocking anyone, but take copper bracelets if they worked then how come plumbers still get arthritis the same as everybody else, and do the men that maintain our power lines heal quicker than anybody else, as i said i have no idea if or why the work or not

Ah it’s always a good sign when they start attacking me rather than the subject being discussed. When you can’t fault what is posted then as a last resort attack the poster lolol, of course I understand their frustration after all who ever heard of people trying to find out anything. Mind didn’t they spent hours googling lol, what do they say about people who blame their tools??

Then theres the idea that you can’t judge something without trying it???? I’ve not tried crystal healing or being abducted by aliens but can make a pretty informed decision as to their validity.

So to bring it together, a brief review of the augment for magic collars

One, learning is bad.

Two, Everything has equal validity and must be tried by the individual before it can be judged ( who’s for my wonder supplement?? )

Three, an individuals experience is better than a study of hundreds of people.

Four, they are not used in hospitals because all the doctors etc are keeping the good stuff to themselves!!!!!!!!

And the augment against the collars having any effect outside of the owners mind/placebo.

One, Good research carried out on hundreds of people, to iron out the placebo etc, shows no real effect.

Two, thousands of clinicians working in health daily not using them.

Three, the knowledge that things like regression to the mean and the natural healing process are well known to lead people into crediting the improvement to the wrong thing. That’s why The Royal society chose it’s motto “Nullius in verba” ( take no ones word for it )“Science is the practise of learning not to fool yourself, and realising that you are the easiest person to fool.”

Four, they decry the idea of learning about a subject as they already know all the answers lol. (Ah, whilst ignorance is only skin deep stupidity runs right to the bone.)

Fifth, if you manufacture a product that works so well, why don’t you carry out a simple study to prove it works? Then you can sell it world wide and make more money then you could ever dream of???? Imagine the market just in the UK, every hospital ward in every hospital, A+E doctors surgery!!!!!! The market would be enormous. Unless they have and it failed??? Wouldn’t want to publicise that!

So to conclude, unless someone can answer the basic and most legitimate question “why such devises are not in every doctor’s surgery, A+E dept etc?” I’ll finish with a word from the Prof “When rational people disagree with someone, they usually voice a relevant counter-argument, produce facts or ask questions that are relevant to the issue at hand. Don’t get me wrong, I do like an academic or factual or rational argument any time – but I find it tedious to deal with irrationality and, more importantly, I feel that it is not in any way productive trying to do so.”

Here we go again :whistling: (yawn) boring everyone to tears.

Why do you insist on trying to belittle everyone.

I speak from years of experience , you just speak from google.

Don't know why you keep going on about doctors surgeries, I'm talking about dogs.

It doesn't matter what you google, how can you change someone's opinion on something that they know does work.
