Lancashire Hunter 22
i have had a few side by sides before i lost my licence. aya number 3 3inch magnum was my favourite. all though it is not stamped with the fleur de lys the chokes were open chokes and were ok to use steel shot through. and the last one i had was a laurona 3 inch magnum aswell both of these handled very well with standard 36 gram loads. but with the zabala would be a better option as stamped for steel shot and is multi choke and single selective trigger. plus as said they also do a 31/2 inch magnum side by side but it will kick like a donkey thats been spooked. personally if it was me i would look at a semi auto if you want to use 31/2 inch shells as it well take near enough all the recoil out of the shell.
