Has anyone use the jake pyke wellies with the zip up the side I'm thinking of getting a pair as my muck boots didn't even last a season before ripping. Are they any good? Ta tom

Although i havent had their wellies i did once have a waterproof jacket from them , well it leaked like a sieve around all seams so wouldnt be surprised if the same happened with the zip seam, although i may have just had a dodgy jacket ??

Or iv seen some neoprene lined seelands which look ok

I have some Jack Pike waterproof bottoms and they are waterproof however are as breathable as a black bin liner.

 

There clothing seems to be cheap for a very good reason.

I bought myself a pair of these wellies based on reviews from this forum and I can not fault them. they are comfy, 4mm neoprene lined and so far have held up to several hours of stalking Rabbits.

 

Other people on here have said that £200 plus chameau's have leaked on them so sometimes you do not always get what you pay for.

 

I think for £30 you can't go far wrong mate.

Have a look at the stockhill wellies on the target sports web site.................great value for the money.

 

I wear mine everyday and they do some mileage and they last me the season.....If your only out in them a few times a week they'll last you 2-3 seasons easy

 

good design on the sole with reinforcement for digging and neoprene lined .

Pretty standard I think. Im a size 9 in steel toe work boots so got the same in these wellies and fit is spot on.

i did too see how they go but there an agile copy and for the money can not see what's to loose

Because I usually wear boots, I couldn't justify loads on wellies, but I got some Seeland all around wellies from Scats last winter and they do the job really well, grippy sole, put a decent in sole in and your away
