Fac Land Check Time?

Hi guys got some land to shoot rabbits over 450acres I shot their years ago with air rifle and decided nows the time for the .22lr on their. If the land hasn't already been cleared does anyone no the process of getting it cleared and how long it should take

You need to phone your firearms department and ask them if it's been cleared. If not it could take a couple of weeks or so. At least round here it does.

Thanks walshie. Their used to be a chap using full bore on their on fox and .22lr for rabbits so chances are its cleared. I'd rather check that for my own piece of mind lol.

Be aware just because someone else shot there in the past (or even now) does not mean it has been inspected, it could be he or they had an 'open' FAC therefore the land

wouldn't be checked.

Yeah defo andy. That's why I'd rather check if its been cleared thanks.

Does anyone no how much it costs to have land checked?
