Everyman should have faith in his dog or bitch if not then what is the point in keeping it. The best dog and best bitch talk means didly squat to me, as with most dogs and bitches in the coursing game there are to many variables like terrain, weather and ground conditions physical condition of the animal even the physical condition of the slipper can influence how a dog runs I know this part from my own age perspective, paper and lists of names dont make a dog run better or faster it can help to influence a particular line of breeding but how the dog or bitch runs on the day and the degree of luck involved all have a bearing.
