Lol..swap him for a selection box and a lynx set

The thing is that nob is probably on here

who ever bred it should be whipped and who ever is selling it should be named and shamed

Facebook ain't to blame, as in the title, nor any other site that advertises pups. This site is no better, only difference is Moderation and alert members, like it or not...

Do I feel for that pup?? Well yer, just as I feel for any other pup that I have no idea where they'll end up....

Underweight, half starved, 'sad'.... Any pup can look piss poor on a pic... Now I ain't saying it is, or it ain't, because I dunno and unless you know that pup, nor do you... What shows a bad pup to some, may just be a puppy pic to others... It is a desert dog pup...?

Thing is... How hypocritical are you..? Because I am.... Since joining the site I find advertisements for stock (whatever it is) a wee bit distasteful but also since joining the site I've given up on 'other hunting dog outlets' so now my natural 'urge', since childhood has been suppressed...

I grew up on dogs and all things hunting, Exchange & Mart, an advertising magazine (!!), was the ONLY outlet for that fix in print. later it was followed by Shooting News and so on through to EDRD, all had classifieds (and yep, i've seen swops before..!!) Wow, these feckers came with articles too!!! Damn good reading, Lloydy, Daergi etc, though gonna have to say, even with all these... Well, hate to say but the classifieds were the best bit..!!!!!!

Now for many, puppy peddling is the sin of all sins and in that I concur, in 35 years with working dogs, only two litters have been in my kennels, with only one planned, (the other, I bought in a unknown pregnant bitch!) BUT the bottom line is, demand increases supply... Ten ton of working lurcher pups out there but we all want sommat better... If this puppy was simply an ad in a mag with full breeding history, would it be such a sin, or simply a puppy for sale, does it matter if its a swop, is that the problem, 20+ years back dogs were peddled round shows with a 'for sale' sign round their neck... We don't see that too much these days do we... What is the problem is that it was bred in the first place? Me, I think so....

Moral high ground, not me! Not saying it's right or wrong, to me, its just another ad and if I was in the market for such a pup I'd inquire....But if we all simply looked over our right shoulder, not on this site but on who we all directly know and 'offered' a quiet word about the next litter they breed, we may all be in a better place in 2014.... So many of us are guilty by association...

Oh yer, take a good hard luck at that puppy... Because if it looks piss poor to you (?), think about the next photo you take of anything hunting related and think on how it might look to others if you had no control... Funny 'ol world ain't it..!! :whistling:

I agree with that somewhat Bosun..

However I have seen adverts on here , Facebook and Preloved.. If I had not read the for sale title, I would of believed these were adverts for the RSPCA..

Bloated bellies full of worms , whelping boxes covered in shit , pups even covered in there own shit... Bitches half starved, the list is endless.

Its these morans are not just adverting pups, they are advertising how badly lacking, they are in any sort of animal husbandry.

When something don't look quite right, its more than often is not right..

How you could change, advise , help these lads .

I have no idea but they need to wake up a smell the bacon, before someone rings for a pup and arranges a pick up and a load of media and RSPCA land and start scrutinizing there findings..
