Country Joe 1,411 Posted December 25, 2013 Report Share Posted December 25, 2013 With ferreting the number one is using equipment that catches, the second has to be weight, I try using everything that keeps weight down. Myself and LC prefer a lighter pole, we have used them on all type of ground, and they have performed well, When its difficult to put in the ground we use these. Quote Link to post
smithie 2,443 Posted December 25, 2013 Report Share Posted December 25, 2013 i have one of these for my hazel pegs, not used it yet but will when the ground hardens.. mine is a wooden handle from a chizel drilled out. it was easier to pick one at work up than set turn the laithe on..
