My Lurcher Acting Strange!

hi all i was out hunting yesterday fr a few hours my dog was goin good, then all of a sudden he started acting very strange when i was tellin him commands like "get on" he would put his tail inbetween his legs and cower down and telling him "there he goes" he would hide in a bush but when i was calling him back he would just stand on top of the bank and just stare at me any advice would be great thanks

once had this with my old bitch but she was staring at nothing and barking she was very obedient but would not take any notice and it whent very cold very quick so don't know never happened again

Maybe the dog mite have got a belt of electric wire farmers have on land to keep stock in there's been a few dogs have vanished after getting shocks from wire over the years we have lost a few sum dogs can't handle it

was there a electric fence near by, did he have a shock just before his behaviour changed?

 

my old dog freaks out when there is electric fences in the same field that hes working in as hes had a couple of bad shocks when he was younger, i can almost tell everytime theres a electric fence near by from his behaviour. the fecker seems to know if they are switched on or not.

Them electric fences are a curse for young dogs and over here in ire the place full of them I wish I had a tenner for every time I got a shock myself over the past 35 years lol
