ferreter griff 0 Posted December 21, 2013 Report Share Posted December 21, 2013 hi all i was out hunting yesterday fr a few hours my dog was goin good, then all of a sudden he started acting very strange when i was tellin him commands like "get on" he would put his tail inbetween his legs and cower down and telling him "there he goes" he would hide in a bush but when i was calling him back he would just stand on top of the bank and just stare at me any advice would be great thanks Quote Link to post

trigger2 3,145 Posted December 21, 2013 Report Share Posted December 21, 2013 was there a electric fence near by, did he have a shock just before his behaviour changed? my old dog freaks out when there is electric fences in the same field that hes working in as hes had a couple of bad shocks when he was younger, i can almost tell everytime theres a electric fence near by from his behaviour. the fecker seems to know if they are switched on or not.
