Timber Storage

i have the pallets lined up to make a shelter/storage for the logs,all I need now is some tarp and dry weather ,which is ferkin scarce at the minute.is there a secret code of wood gatherers,pto or hyd..............what the hell is all that about?

Potato crates with a sheet of tin over the top I don't bother covering my logs tbh just all in piles and left like that , rain water don't make much difference it's the sap what needs to dry out

forget all that shite,buy an 8lb spliting axe and whack the shit out of that pile of timber,like real men used to.bunch of fannys lol

You could make you'd own poly tunnel, As said rain water isn't a drastic problem, it wets the edge of the logs but doesn't really soak through. I just keep a few piles by the log burner to dry them f

pto one is driven off the shaft coming from the back off the tractor and as its own hydraulic oil supply

 

hydraulic one is driven from the tractors hydraulics
