I agree 100% with your views on needing the Fed, you are, in my opinion half right on the other orgs and especially the old BFSS. A lot has changed since the BFSS changed to the Countryside Alliance, some will say it was only a name change, I disagree, they do work on behalf of all. But because of the various amount of sectors in hunting there will always be divisions amongst ourselves, unfortunatly thats life. The Alliance can only do so much and cannopt do anything with out our support.

 

My opinion is to positivly move forward, if you are a member of any org you can have your say, vote, criticise, or vote persons, policies, rules etc in/out. If you are not a member you cannot do anything. I have met a fair amount of upper class ar** holes in my time from both the Coursing & Hunting world. Lost a lot of permision through some of them, hunt foxes and all that shit and yet I have stood along side the tossers at rallies etc, mad world!

 

The point I am getting at whether I, or youl like it or not strength is in numbers, experience, money and solidarity. Have these ingrediants and we, or all, should not go wrong.

 

The Alliance is at present our only option and are doing a decent job considering they are fighting the Government!

 

Good luck and well done for your support at Scotland. unfortunatly I wasnt there because of work commitments, I did attend and support all the other Marches including Ambleside.
