Is it daytime ferreting you use your nets or night work, if Ferreting I would use two 25 yarders in one basket, Nelson will be making a new basket soon that will take 12 poles.

and though you only want one basket, I would go for two, then you can get your stop nets in, and what ever type is needed on the day, you can pick from the two, or take the two with you.

For night netting, I always used the Traditional method, 100 yarder and pegs in the jacket, means its easier to net where you shouldn't be .

Mainly daytime ferreting I think I am going go for two baskets spoke to nelson yesterday and going have a large basket off him what hold the 50 at back and 25 at front then will get a smaller basket just for stop nets.once I've got all my quick set sorted I'm going order some netting of nelson ad have ago at a traditional...

You can put the 50 in the back mate then fill that back slot right up then move onto the front, you just fill the back slot even it is into another net, that is if you want to. That way you can fill both slots up and get more net in if you want. Cant put a pic up as my lap top wont paste now, any ideas out there. And everyone have a nice Christmas and new year.

The ground was rock hard when I done this video, could hardly push the poles in.

Just depends how deep Nelson has made his baskets, mine will hold about 12 in the back and similar in the front, I have just made one of the smaller type ones that will take twenty in the one slot, this is a better sized basket for getting in my car with all the other gear. Will be selling 2 of the bigger baskets soon as I have made a few smaller ones. I will keep 1 big one though as one place I go I need a load of net and are better to feed net into.

And the smaller one will be handy for when I need to run lol

Kev, that large basket will hold 24 poles in total, fill the back right up then start adding to the front. i wont be making the smaller basket until the new year i have a new workshop to build first

It is just the same size body as the other Les, just looks smaller because it is so high. Will get a strap on it and try it, cant see it being a problem at all mate and it will fit in my car easy with the dog cage in.
