blind wandering fox

we were driving out in the bush and found this staggering fox trotting right down the middle of the road. As we got closer you could smell that he had just been sprayed by a skunk. He couldn't really see where he was going. I thought of letting our dog after it. He's only 14 weeks. Didn't let him after it though, pretty stinky :sick:

i was doing some reading on my lunch hour. Pretty funn replys boys. I had my daughters with me at the time. They're 9 and 5 yrs old. I would have never heard the end of it if I ran him over.

next year he should be ready to give the fox a go eh? 14 weeks is way early for sure but i can understand the urge to let the lil nipper off the leash and all. Has he been on to anything yet? keep us updated, great pics

here's the little fella on Sunday

 

 

here he is coming out of the foxhole. I had to nudge him in and then he went about 2 meters in.

 

this rock is a huge glacial deposit. About 40,000kg. There are a few different holes going under on a couple sides of it.
