Country Joe 1,411
As above, it says it contains a source of Omega 3 and 6 and also is advertised as good for the coat?

sandymere 8,263
Good as any, I tend to use cod liver oil but salmon should do the same, in truth rape seed oil would likely have a similar effect but as I said I still like to give cod liver oil lol. Billiebob34 3
i use Yumega plus ,its a bit expensive but really helped my dogs coat ,salmon oil is really good for them too...alot of coat conditions are because of what we feed our dogs and not all the ingredients agree with the dog ..then causing skin complaints ..pain in the butt trying to find a good food that agrees with all my lot.Dont know why the food companies have to put all the crap in the food...dogs dont need it .Think i will breed some pigs and grow veg

socks 32,253
Salmon is a staple part of a sled dogs diet .... Those dogs can run all day and have good enough coats to sleep outside in minus zero temperatures ........

Mickey Finn 3,016
I don't use any expensive additives with my feed. But I add a few tablespoons of whatever oil I have on hand in the winter. Helps the coat, and gives a boost in fat. I should probably take Omega-3 myself. ATB
