Glasses And Scopes

Hi Guys

 

Being an old man or getting that way, I've just come back from 2 weeks in the sun and before I went I had an eye test and was told I should have reading glasses and a set for long range use/driving. Now I collected these yesterday and they are ok but having never had them before I have this question for my fellow olde'ns, do I need to wear them with a scope or does the scope make the arrangements through adjustments.

 

it is funny I can see well and can still see a deer at 300 yds but not the newspaper in front of me

You will be fine not wearing the glasses, at least I am, but unfortunaterly it is all a slippery downward slope from now on in.

Hi Phil , like you my old lamps are fading , just got a pair of bi focals for reading & driving but don't need them for shooting as it all looks good through the 8x56..

Nothing like a good quality fixed power scope to get those brown blobs on the floor and then in the larder hey Kev!
