If u get the chance fly to Angkor Wat Siam reap Cambodia for a couple of days

Blows your mind

On route home

Drop in Bangkok and get a couple of days upto

River Kwai and visit the cemetery' death railway

' stay on the floating bungalows on the river Kwai

And elephant trek down the river

Well worth a couple days stop off on route home

Or a few days relaxation on either koh Chang

Krabi or koh samui or Phi phi island

Chaing Mai up north great but more mountainous

You can't beat getting out in amongst it

The hustle and bustle of Bangkok is great

A very very fast paced City

Full on but give me the rural countryside first and formost

Make the most of it Mik and visit these places at every given opportunity while over there mate.

We dead a long time.

We did phi phi le , phi phi don etc when I was in Phuket, as stunning as you can get, loved it over there. hotel had its own island too, granted a small one, haha, mind that was a once in a life time holiday for me, lol, non of this getting paid to do it nonsense :-)

I was never keen on Angola dodgy place ,,always looking over your shoulder ....we used to frequent a place call pub Royale in Luanda a proper shit hole full of hookers had some fair nights in that place ...all the buildings were covered in bullet holes from the civil war ....got in a few scapes over there I remember after the Bernard Hopkins /Calzaghe fight a few locals decided they wanted our watches t shirts and trainers ...lets just say they didn't get them....I remember a lad was too drunk to get on the plane now this lad was handy a big lump so went back to base and got back on the drink and got into a scrape with the local police and was put in the cells ...the lads went to pick him up in the morning with some food and water (now heres where WILF starts getting excited )...he had been locked up in a tiny cell with a load of locals who had bummed and beaten him all night ...the lad was broken and I hear he has never been the same

 

Aye Max I have to say Nam is my favourite country in the world Ho Chi Minh City is mindblowing ...that's the real Asia ....spent a bit of time in a place to the south called Vung Tau last year ...it was just like you see in the Vietnam war movies beautifull scenery..we travelled about mostly by chopper flying past all the islands covered in trees and the secluded beaches ...great people as well and cheap as chips ...Congo and Gabon are stunning when you get away from the city ...imo the biggest shit hole is Angola... Italy is not far behind it spent a lot of time there 3 years ago traveling the west coast from Ravena fuk all wild life there apart from magpies and the men are just mincers .

WILF I hear fatty has bought a new hilux straight out the box ... ...yous better take your rifle with yous cause yous will catch fuk all ...

Managed to avoid Nigeria, but pleanty boys here that have been there as well, and most say Nigeria is better than here!

They say once you get past all the sh*t en-route to Camp, it's ok.

Down here, you are in amongst the sh*t all the time!

 

There are 'nice' (But c**tin' expensive') places you can go, but day in, day out, all the sh*t grinds ya down....even the simplest of things is a struggle.

Frustrating as f**k!!!

Canna get f**k all done, any thing to be awkward towards us!

 

Seen a bit of Asia, it's FAR Superior!
