Digging For Trouble With Pics

Recommended Posts

lads i was commenting on another topic on here when a member posted some crazy info that i for one didnt realise how serious it could be for us.

check out page 2 and 3 of the rspca topic in the lurcher discussion section.

i tryed out what he said and simple clicked on a pic in this section of lads at a dig, pasted the url into a web page called jefferys exif and the exact time location and an ariel pic of where the pic was taken all popped up on the screen.....

try it youselves and see. it could be very dangerous putting up any pics of anything if it can be traced that easy by any joe soaps.....

all the dogs being stolen may not be down to somone knowing what you have and where you are. one pic of your dogs in your kennels and the whole world can see what you have, your address and even an ariel photo of your yard............

be cautious putting up pics....

That's Excellent info you've posted fox digger, so just be careful what photos you post lads don't play into the scumbags hands looks like all you have to do is switch off your GPS on your smart phone or use a digital camera. I have only been a member on this forum for a short while but some of the topics I have read smacks of Antis. The scumbag basterds are everywhere

Good man fox bigger i was speaking to a man a while back and he told me 2 stop posting pictures on here because you can never no ho is looking at them so taking his advice

if you post a picture on here it automatically goes onto Google and bing etc. theres things called bots that collect them, if you look at the people on-line you will see them

Why do people actually take photos of digs with dead quarry and dogs with bloodied heads on them and then stick them on here and FB and anywhere else they can for everyone and anyone to see.Nothing wrong with a few pics of a good dig but keep them private or between you and your diging mates, but dont keep any footage or pics of illegal activites because if your raided and this is found then your in the shit, also some of the pics that are put up are been messed about with and the anti brigade use them in a completely different version than they were actually taken.I am a long time at the diging game and of all the dogs ive had down the years i have 1 pic of a terrier that is dead 20 years or more.

its very simple, keep it legal and ensure they show the sport in a good light, make sure its taken with gps disabled and just use common sense and you will be fine
