lorelei0922 2 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Share Posted September 17, 2007 my hubby was saying that every 7 yrs a new strain is released, as the few survivors develope immunities which are then passed on to young, so the next 6 yrs the occurance of mixy slows a lil each year until the new strain is released, and the proceding spring you see a more virulent spread of it. mind you i've no idea if this is fact or rumor...
