foxhound45 167
Foxdigger, thanks for understanding. Some people take it the wrong way and would rather the information isn't shared. The word used is called "METADATA" meaning information about information. Don't think of a photo as being a flat picture, think of a photo as being.....like..........a box of information. You see the photo, but within the box comes a lot of other information depending on what took the photo, if it was connected to GPS or the internet at the time and sending back information to a server, the list is endless. The phone has its own unique ID connected to your details. The people in the photo can be automatically tagged by facebook without anyone having to do it....a machine does it. Times are changing.......I can't wait for the day I can throw my phone into a skip. 3 Quote Link to post

foxhound45 167
I have to tell the lads in N.I. about the grey spy plane. Lads, that plane is equipped with military grade technology we haven't even heard of yet. It pin points dug earth using remote sensing technology and compiles a log of all dug holes and gives the information to those in charge. When the yellow and black helicopter flies over you and notes what you are doing it no longer hovers but instead calls the grey spy plane. It flies over you and sends a signal to your phone. Even though your phone does not look as though it responds it sends a signal back the host. With this signal goes all your info and photos on your phone. The plane does a small circular recce flight with photos of your face and nearby vehicles. Only one facial photo is needed and they use software like face-tagging technology on facebook to find out who you are. You must remember, a cop would need an arrest warrant and a gang of bobby to raid your house, whereas an IT specialist can find out everything about "you and your dog" just by using simple software. I don't want to stir the pot or get people worried, but we are not told about invasive technology that infringes on our basic human rights. 1 Quote Link to post

unlacedgecko 1,466
f**k me Foxhound, that is some good stuff to know. The military grade spy plane with the camera looking for disturbed earth is mainly used in Afghan. If they can detect a 6" x 6" hole Mohammed dug to put an IED pressure plate in, then a 6' x 6' dig on a badger sett will be seen easily enough... 1 Quote Link to post
