foxhound45 167
Photos taken with phones or ipads have a geo-tag encoded within the photo that actually fingerprints the exact location the photo was taken. So if you ever wonder how ya got a knock on the door they just copy the URL from your photo, typeinto google Jeffrey's Exif viewer, copy and paste, then a map with the exact location of the photo is shown on google map. Its that easy. 9 Quote Link to post

foxhound45 167
I heard the PSNI are using it to data log the co-ordinates of spots lads dig. So instead of flying needlessly round the countryside they plot 20 holes ......say round the Antrim area......fly to every hole round lunchtime on a Saturday and lucky enough......1 in 20 chance of coming across lads digging isn't a bad hit rate. foxhound45 167
One other thing................if the grey spy plane flies over ya in N.I. it pings your mobile. Your mobile then responds sending back a signal with ALL your details. I never bring my phone out hunting or stalking even ferreting! Quote Link to post

WELL FUK ME PINK.... date, time, co-ordinates and an ariel view of the field with an arrow pointing to the exact location of the hole where the photo was taken......... that is me done with ever letting a picture be taken when we are hunting again. that is crazy shit. foxhound put up a topic about this will you please and warn everyone how lethal this is and any old joe can see where the pic was taken. the only good thing that i got from it is that i know the pin point location of a new hole!!!! pity its in another country tho!!!! foxhound45 167
If I could keep one lad from rubbing shoulders with the Fuzz I would rather let them know how geo-locating is done than be silent. 1 Quote Link to post

It even tells you if the flash was used! lads please take note, even if you are perfectly within your right to be digging or hunting where ye are and pics are taken of somthing harmless then you are still publishing where ye hunt and giving away the location of your earths!!! even seling somthing realistically and putting up a pic of it, be it a bicycle, car dog or donkey you are actually putting up a pinpoint location of where the item is located..... f**k that, there is nutting safe anymore. putting up pics of you dogs in your kennels now will tell the whole world what you have and where they are located even with an ariel pic of your yard!!! 2 Quote Link to post
fox digger 1,086
facebook you should see the amount of images removed from here in a week paulus would it be worth pinning foxhounds info? realistically it is crazy and lads should know this info if they are putting pics on here. it can be proven by this jefferys exif crack what was in the hole you dug and weather or not it was originally used by badgers and classed as a "badger sett"...... very simple for somone to go check out the hole after a pic was put up of a dig and check it for "evidence"....... foxhound45 167
There are a hundred and one reasons why hunters and even the general public should know exactly what intelligence is behind each photo. I could have said nothing at all and just let the world go by. 5 Quote Link to post

Mods have been beating this drum for 10 years. No one gave a shit then, and clearly not now. It should be pinned but no one, it applies to, is going to give a flying f**k... until the rozzers arrive, anyway! 3 Quote Link to post
