Mister Gain 1,764
3 excellent videos Darryl. It's refreshing that blokes like yourself take the time and effort to make these tutorials to assist others. Thanks. Quote Link to post
Elliott 436
Thanks for the videos Darryl, after watching them I'd feel confident in stripping and working on my own HW77K. Other than piston buttoning I wonder what else goes into a professional tune? Edited December 18, 2013 by Elliott 1 Quote Link to post

Other than piston buttoning I wonder what else goes into a professional tune? Good stuff mate! Not sure about other "tuners" but I imagine they will all have their own trait. I'll continue to do what works for me though and I think the chrono test proves it works Darryl 1 Quote Link to post

Just shows you do not need to spend £ 100s on a tune , very well done its not a tune! its fettling Call it what you want but definition of a tune is to make fine adjustments to (an engine, machine, etc) to obtain optimum performance if you want to play on words and even Darryl called it his tune Quote Link to post

Marksman 934
No lathe work involved as I don't own a lathe I'd bet that this one would shoot just as sweet as a "tuned" one Ok, so while were on the subject, what constitutes a tune?? Is it called a tune simply because it's done by sorme well known people I know some make their own piston seals hence the lathe work etc but it's as I said in the video, it's the way I do things, it works and happy with the results. It would be interesting to see one of "my rifles" up against others from other well known industry guys just to see how well it does. Darryl 2 Quote Link to post
